Medicare Plans
Navigating Medicare
is Challenging
Many seniors have health insurance coverage through government benefits they have qualified for. However, these plans can sometimes leave deductibles, copays, and excess charges that are the responsibility of the individual.
Medicare supplements and advantage plans are available to help cover these gaps. However, rates for the plans can vary widely.
We at The Covenant Group are independent agents, representing you, our client, not working for a particular company. We can help you determine what is the best plan for your situation.
Medicare
Advantage
Referred to as Medicare Part C or MA Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans are bundled plans which include Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance), and typically Part D (Prescription Drugs). As popular alternatives to Original Medicare, the plans are sold by private companies.
Medicare Supplements
A Medigap, or Medicare Supplement, plan pay after Medicare to help cover your deductibles, copays, and coinsurance that you would otherwise be responsible for covering. Private health insurance companies sell these popular plans.
Prescription
Drug plans
Medicare prescription drug coverage (Part D) helps you pay for both brand-name and generic drugs. Medicare drug plans are offered by insurance companies and other private companies approved by Medicare, which doesn’t already include prescription drug coverage.
